A beautiful couples session in the gardens

I had the pleasure of capturing Trinity and Jakes Washington Oaks Gardens Photos when I was traveling to Florida for work back in May.

We explored all areas of the park, from the lush tropical gardens to the nearby beach, providing a wide variety of backdrops for their session.

More About Their Story

Jake and Trinity met in high school. Jake is a few years older than Trinity, and when he graduated, he immediately joined the Army and was deployed for a couple of years. During this time, they stayed friends and became even closer. Fast forward four years: Jake completed his service in the Army and moved back home. They started hanging out again, and it felt like he had never left.

After spending so much time together, they eventually began to date. Their first date was at Casa De Vino 57 Winery, located in downtown St. Augustine. They don’t go as often as they used to, but they call it their spot and consider it a special place for them.

Now they have a puppy named Lucy, who keeps them very busy. When they have the time, they enjoy going to the beach, having movie nights at home or at the theater, and trying to make it to their local farmers’ market every Sunday morning.

Trinity and Jake are both in school while working full-time jobs. They value their quality time together when their schedules align.

Upon meeting these two, I knew we would have the best time. I am so thankful to have spent this experience with them doing their Washington Oaks Gardens photos.

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park consists of 425 acres of beautiful, lush tropical gardens, streams, gazebos, and more.

It costs only $5 per vehicle to access the park, which is open 365 days a year.
