If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor location for your Cleveland engagement session then the Cleveland Cultural Gardens are for you.
Being one of Northeast Ohio’s oldest treasures, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens offers over 40 gardens for the perfect outdoor setting.
In addition to that, I have visited the Cultural Gardens numerous times and have not even managed to see it all yet. As of now, my favorite spot to go is the Italian Cultural Garden.
From the Italian garden I enjoy going by the Greek garden and ending at the Hungarian garden. This route makes for a beautiful versatile backdrop for your session.

Cleveland Engagement Session | Reanna & Brandon
When Reanna and Brandon told me they wanted to go to the Cultural Gardens for their Cleveland engagement session I was thrilled. I had not been to the gardens since winter at that point and was excited to see it in full bloom.
First, we began at the Italian gardens. The upper level has a fountain modeled after the fountain in Villa Medici in Rome, Italy. From there you can access the lower level by going down two large winding staircases.
Next up was the Greek garden. This beautiful garden has columns that are representative of the type of column you would see while viewing the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
Lastly, our final stop was the Hungarian garden. This is a beautiful garden to visit in the summer as the pond is lined with grass and flowers. With winding staircases that descend into the hedges behind the park, this makes for a very lush and vibrant backdrop to your session.
Without a doubt, I highly reccommend the Curtural Gardens for your Cleveland engagement session.
I had the best time with Reanna and Brandon celebrating their love through the gardens. Whether you go for engagements or wedding photos, the Cultural Gardens do not disappoint!
